Sparks Film School Stalybridge

“Hi, I’m Adele from Sparks Tameside…

… I’m excited to welcome children and teens to film classes!

At Sparks Tameside, we are all extremely passionate about the arts and media. Film and media is such an integral part of society and provides children with an unrivalled platform to express themselves creatively. It offers the chance to showcase their talents, both behind and in front of the camera.

We help them to share their own stories, build their confidence and develop a wealth of valuable and transferable skills for their futures.

We love to see the results of their hard work when a project is complete. We love to witness how proud they are of their achievements.

I’ve worked in the creative industries for many years, so I know how important these opportunities are for children’s creative development and for their future. Since working in education as a primary school teacher, I’ve sought to provide engaging learning opportunities that inspire, educate and empower in inclusive and enriching ways. We aim to support every child we work with to discover their personal talents and to develop their skills and imagination.

In the coming years, we plan to introduce Sparks film making classes for children and teenagers across the whole of the East Manchester region, empowering young creatives from the North West to make their own movies.
