About Sparks Winchmore Hill

Sparks Winchmore Hill opened in 2019 and welcomes young film makers from all over the Borough of Enfield.

Through our fun film classes and school holiday camps, we help children and young people to develop their creativity and confidence. We help to develop their skills, their imaginations and their love for movie making.

We offer action-packed film classes, where children and teenagers learn all about the creative process. They learn directing, camera skills, how to crew, video editing, acting for camera and even more. We meet during the weekends and during school holidays to create unique movie productions in our fun-filled studios.

Group sizes are small (max. 12) for all our film workshops, with high staff ratios to provide a high quality experience. All Sparks instructors are trained and DBS-checked.

Sparks Winchmore Hill is an OFSTED approved provider which means that classes and camps can be booked using Childcare Vouchers or the Childcare Choices platform. Please contact us below to set up a Childcare Voucher account.

Angelie - Sparks Enfield

Hi, I’m Angelie from Sparks Winchmore Hill…

I believe the chance to learn about film can be life changing for so many young people, which is why I’m delighted to help children in my local area.

All the team here are excited to help to share the magic of movie making and to boost creativity and skills.

An education in film making can help children to express their ideas, expand their imaginations, develop their interpersonal skills, and also critically understand the films that they watch. It helps them to engage in the media world around them and gives space for them to become creators too.

After leading film classes and camps at the Highgate branch for the last three years, I’m delighted to bring Sparks classes to Winchmore Hill. I’m really looking forward to making some fun and inventive films with young people, I can’t wait to help them realise their ideas!
