Sparks Film School Dorking

Welcome to Sparks in Dorking

Face-to-face filmmaking classes are currently on hold due to the national lockdown, but we look forward to reopening soon. In the meantime, please get in touch to join the waiting list, or join our mailing list below for updates.

Hi, I’m Mark from Sparks Dorking…

I live locally and have been teaching media and film nearby for over 20 years. I also have extensive experience of working in the film and TV industries.

I am driven by a passion for the moving image and I take inspiration from the creativity and imagination of the children I teach. Kids see the world in unique ways and their imaginations know no limits. Providing them with the tools and skills to unlock their creativity is both a privilege and a joy.

Primarily film-making should be fun so by encouraging their passions and helping them to discover their skills, we will be nurturing the story makers of the future.
