Easter Movie Making Camps Start on Monday…
We are so so so excited to welcome movie makers back to Sparks from next Monday.
We’ll be helping young movie makers to produce some incredible productions, all themed around tall tales and hidden identities.
Movie makers aged 5-14 will be taking part in three different workshops:
Studio 1 Movie Makers are set to produce their own fun adapatation of the Pinocchio story.
Their film will be filled with lots of animation, puppetry (of course), arts and crafts and photography too.
Our Studio 1 instructors will be taking them on imaginative adventures and helping them to capture every moment of the journey in their movie production.
Studio 2 and 3 Movie Makers are producing spy thriller movies!
There will be plenty of plot twists, double agents and fun action-sequences happening in Studios 2 and 3.
We’re excited to see all the captivating characters they come up with – including their villains!
Studio 4 makers are off into boxset drama territory…
They’ll be crafting some intricate, interwoven plotlines, where nobody is quite who they seem.
They’ll also be exploring lots of ‘Nordic Noir’ visual and narrative styling techniques.
We’re really excited to see what their finished films look like!
Over the course of five workshop days, each of the young crews will produce their own original and unique production.
They’ll develop their initial ideas together, build their stories and then step into all the professional crew roles you find on a real film set – including director, camera operator, production crew roles and more.
By the end of the week, the movie makers will have created a fantastic movie production, ready to share with family members and friends.
We’ve been excited for these creative movie making workshops for, well, quite some time. We’re delighted to welcome all the movie makers on Monday and get started!
We’ll update on the crew members’ progress throughout the week, with plenty of insights from behind the scenes of their productions.
There are projects taking place at most Sparks film schools.
